John McCabe
Greetings all. My name is John McCabe and I am your Construction Director for next year. I am a senior in Civil Engineering and enjoy biking, hanging out, dancing, and telling bad jokes. Anyways I've been involve with Habitat since sophomore year spring semester from the Collegiate Challenge Trip in which I encourage everyone to do! But I encourage everyone also to come out to builds, because nothing is more satisfying than getting to see how the small tasks you do build up to make a big difference in a family's life! Feel free to contact me with questions you may have!

Hey guys! I'm Scott McCrackan, a junior in Civil Engineering. I started to get involved with Habitat starting this year, going to builds and concessions. This semester I'll be the volunteer coordinator, so feel free to email me if you have any questions about the builds. Aside from Habitat I'm also a part of ASCE and the Steel Bridge Team on campus. I enjoy playing intramural sports and hanging out with friends.

Gregory Stroot
Hello! My name is Greg Stroot and I'm currently a sophomore in Mechanical Engineering. I've been around Habitat all my life through my cousin, who runs a chapter in Kentucky, then this year I joined our local chapter to help with the builds and find a sense of community. Outside of Habitat, I love anything outdoors (especially hiking), listening to music (anything from edm to classical), and I enjoy physical activities like rock climbing and Olympic weightlifting.

What Does This Committee Do?

A typical build day is from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM on Saturday. Transportation is provided to and from the Union, and all tools are provided. No construction experience is necessary - a construction manager from the County Chapter and our own student Steering Coordinator, as well as volunteer skilled team leaders, are always present to provide instructions and guidance. Building is a great way to get involved in the heart of Habitat's work.

Do You Have Any Suggestions?
